I love homey food, which naturally means I looove meatballs. It’s bad, but when my wife makes meatballs, I can smell them as I am putting my key in the front door. We are all about simple alternatives to complex foods and these meatballs are not only easy to make, we use Kraft FreshTake to standardize the process and get a consistently delicious meatball every single time.
I picked up a 2-pound package of Lean Ground beef at Walmart and the two packages of Italian Parmesan Fresh Take packages. I had the spices and eggs I needed at home and by the time I checked out my mouth was watering!
I really like the Kraft Fresh Takes, we’ve used them before to bread some check when we are in a hurry and it does a fantastic job. In this recipe, I want consistently GOOD meatballs. We’ve used this recipe before and it works every single time. Even a husband like me could make these! On top of that, Kraft often puts out coupons for FreshTakes!! Whether it’s in your paper or on coupons.com there are often ways to save! Currently there is a coupon available to print for $1 off when you buy chicken, which makes them $.98 at Walmart!
You’ll need 2 pounds of ground beef, we prefer lean, then the Kraft Italian Parmesan Fresh Take (both the crumbs and the cheese) along with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasonsings, olive or canola oil and eggs. That’s it. Seven basic ingredients! You just add all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl and get dirty. Use your hands to combine all the ingredients thoroughly and then form into balls. You can make them as big or as small as you want. The smaller the meatballs the faster they will cook so watch out for that (wouldn’t want you to burn them!). Now you can simply eat the meatballs by themselves, or another idea….meatball sliders!! Grab a bag or rolls and make some sliders, which would be perfect for any party!
You’ll need to put them on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 for about 40 minutes. I don’t like pink in my meatballs, but if you like a little pink just check them throughout the process. I added a delicious crockpot pasta sauce and these were a HUGE hit. Simple and delicious this recipe comes out perfectly every time.
The meatballs have Parmesan cheese throughout. They have a nice consistency have a nice bite to them. If you love meatballs, this is definitely an easy recipe to try out!
