At some point it’s time to decide to get and be healthy. I think most of us spend our childhood and teenage years feeling, and thinking we are invincible. We eat what we want, sleep too little, and overall we neglect our bodies. But then the late 20’s and 30’s hit. It’s like a downward spiral. You start to break down, stay sore a little longer, the desire/ability to stay out, up longer wains or goes away. In truth, you reach adult hood.
What you begin to realize is that in order to live life meaningfully and on purpose is that you must begin to take care of yourself. Those things from health class long ago begin to creep back into your mind, eating right, exercising and getting enough sleep. Gone are the days of endless buckets of cheese fries and here are the days of fueling your body properly. There’s a certain relief giving into being an adult and the satisfaction of taking care of you. It comes when you start to feel better, and start to feel like yourself again.
Part of my daily routine is taking vitamins. I don’t like taking pills, in fact I hate it. I try to avoid it at all costs. But I also know that in order to have my body functioning at optimal efficiency I need to take vitamins. A good multivitamin, fish oil for heart health, and calcium, and/or a vitamin D supplement. But when you start to add those pills up over the course of one-day, a week, or a month, and man that’s a lot of pills to take. I don’t like that! But…….make it like a treat, into little morsels of goodness and I can make sure I have time for my supplements, everyday!
I was shopping at Walmart and I needed to pick up some more of my gummy vitamins and my normal brand was all sold out. Here I decided that I would try Sundown Naturals® Fish Oil Gummies. Now, I know what you’re thinking, fish oil in a gummy?! I am here to tell you that it is amazing!! I was skeptical at first, could they really take something as unappetizing as fish oil and make it into a berry gummy, and make it taste good? I am here to tell you that yes they did! These gummies contain heart healthy Omega 3’s, contain no dairy or lactose, gluten free, and no artificial flavors◊. That is a win in my book. The flavor is grape, strawberry, and raspberry. Now when I open the container, I half expect a fishy smell to hit me in the face, it does not. The pleasant berry aroma meets me. But the real test is the taste, right? Serving size for these fish oil gummy supplements is 2. I grab two and pop them in my mouth, and again I am very surprised. I half expected a fishy taste, and again, just berries. This is a delightful way to get my fish oil in daily without a fish burp, or taking a big huge pill.

With some many options to make being a responsible healthy adult easy, we have no excuse to not take our vitamins! It’s so easy to make my morning smoothie, and grab my Sundown Naturals® Gummies on the way out. I will keep choosing Sundown Naturals® Fish Oil Gummies!
