We like breakfast foods around here. I am not sure if it’s more of a convenience issue for me, or if we just really enjoy eating them. On nights where I just don’t want to cook, I can whip up some eggs and sausage and everyone’s happy, including me. I also find that when making breakfast foods you can be extremely creative and versatile. You can dress up the eggs, or be as simple as you like and you still come out with a good dish. As much as I like breakfast at breakfast time, I think somehow I like breakfast for dinner more.
Now, I know that in reality you can eat whatever strikes your fancy at different meal times. I have been known to enjoy left over cold pizza for breakfast. One of my favorite things to make is an all in one-breakfast item. I have made quiches, frittatas, and egg casseroles. Eggs being such a versatile ingredient, they really have endless applications. I also like to make things that are impressive but really take no time at all. One of those things is the Breakfast Crescent ring. It’s literally one of easiest and prettiest things to make. It looks like it took a lot of fuss when it really didn’t.
One of the other reasons that I like making egg dishes is that eggs are pretty economical. I am always concerned with keeping the family on budget, and to do that I continue to choose to shop at ALDI. I have really enjoyed getting to know ALDI and their brands. I have come to trust that their brands match national brand quality. I went to ALDI and got the ingredients I needed for the Breakfast Crescent Ring. I didn’t worry about this turning out badly. I picked up some crescent rolls, cheese, breakfast sausage, and some eggs. I also grabbed some onions, peppers and cilantro. This meal is a crowd pleaser and it won’t break the bank.
I have made this many times using ALDI ingredients, and each and every time it comes out tasting amazing. I love that ALDI products stand up time and time again to national brands and each time ALDI products rise to the occasion.
I have grown to love shopping at ALDI because I just love the size of the store. I honestly cringe at the thought of going into the local larger store. It’s always so busy, and looks like it’s been hit by a freight train. But when I go into ALDI, the products are much more accessible and I can be out of there in half the time.
I like the pride ALDI takes in their stores and their products, I know that I am getting quality products and I am going to “pay far less, for far better” products. They take the time to pick out quality fresh ingredients, so I know they are fresh. ALDI stores carry 90% ALDI brands and that translates into saving for my wallet and yours.
Give this recipe a try and use the ALDI products and see for yourself why we continue to choose and use ALDI products in our favorite recipes.
