Egg Nog. Its a traditional holiday drink that you either love or hate. There seems to be no in-between. So I usually try my hand at making a holiday treat with egg nog that will turn even the most ardent naysayers into an egg nog lover.
This year I decided I would make something quite simple. Egg Nog Fluff. I wanted a dessert for a get together that was holiday but wasn’t labor intensive. I feel like many of the favorite dishes of the season are wonderful but require many steps to bring to completion. I knew this one would be easy as well as be crowd pleasing.
It’s so simple to make with pudding and cool whip and a few spices that even the most novice of cooks can make this. Head to the store and pick up these ingredients and impress your guests at your next dinner party.
- 1 box of vanilla pudding
- 1tsp of nutmeg
- ½ tsp of ground ginger
- 1 tsp of rum extract or the real thing
- 1 cup of your favorite egg nog
- 1 container of whipped topping
- Place all ingredients except whipped topping into a mixing bowl and stir to combine. Add in cool whip and whisk until combined. Allow to set up in the fridge 1-2 hours.
