You guys know I get busy!! Between family, work and blogging I barely have time! We try hard to eat healthy and keep what we eat new exciting! This recipe is just that, simple, delicious, and a HUGE time saver! Literally it will take you 30 minutes, just long enough for the chicken to cook and you’ve got the perfect Fajita Nachos!
But, you’re probably thinking, the chicken needs to be seasoned, marinated, and prepared, WRONG!! I am so excited to share with you the new Tyson Smokey Steakhouse and Southwest Pepper Trio Frozen Chicken Breast! They are exclusively available at Walmart. Now, what is so special about this product? It comes seasoned!!! You literally don’t need to do anything to it to make it taste delicious! Tyson was kind enough to send me both varieties (thanks Tyson!!) and I immediately knew I would be using the Southwest Pepper Trio for fajitas. I wanted to test it out, see if it truly was as good as they said.
My test? Throw the chicken into the skillet; add some bell peppers and a tablespoon of ancho chili powder for the veggies and a little chicken broth. While the chicken cooked, I prepared an avocado, got the cheese out, chopped lettuce, and grabbed the chips. Within thirty minutes, the chicken was done, and ready to serve!
The real test: TASTE. Without any preparation, would this chicken hold up to my picky family’s standards. Well, let’s just say we didn’t have any leftovers. I was AMAZED. I literally could not believe how amazing and truly flavorful this product was. Without doing anything, except spice the vegetables and add a little broth, this chicken shined. You can see from the pictures it looks amazing. I even did a Vine!!
The Tyson Frozen Chicken Breasts come in two new flavors, the Smokey Steakhouse and (my favorite) Southwest Pepper Trio Seasoned. They are ONLY available at Walmart, beginning on April 9, 2013.
