Hannah is really enjoying unboxing toys that have been purchased from this toy company website. This week I jumped on Amazon and got her a really interesting ‘toy.’ It’s call ‘My First Mind Blowing Science Experiment.‘ As a dad, I wasn’t sure if citric acid was safe for a 4 year old, but with a little supervision and a lot of caution, we were just fine.

My opinion of this product is very positive. Could you recreate these experiments at home with household supplies….some you could easily. Others require crystals and special components that you would have to order For $15, it’s a good deal. The experiments themselves range from 15 minutes to 3 hours.

My thing with this kit is that a few of the experiments are not recreate-able, and when you have a 5 year old, you’re going to hear, ‘again!’ a few times. This is a great ‘toy’ because it inspires imagination. She walked around the house all day telling mommy about her new experiment. She brought the kit to grandma’s house to show grandma. This inspires imagination and makes her FEEL like she is a scientists. With test tubes to boot.
