I Travel with Choice #RightChoice
I Travel with Choice. “In full disclosure, Choice Hotels is paying for my trip. Text and opinions are my own.”
It’s so much fun to visit with friends and as a blogger, my digital blogging friends I only see once a year. I chat with them, see their children grow up and build strong lasting relationships that have endured for years. So when a blogging conference comes around, we all chat and see who is going. It’s our chance to connect with friends that get the stresses, challenges and rewards of blogging.
This year, I’m speaking at SoFabU Atlanta, a conference designed to make bloggers better. I’m taking two days off work (yea!) to travel, hang out and see some amazing friends. I love to speak, share what I’ve learned and help friend’s grow their blogs. Part of conference travel is the transport and hotel stay and it can add up quickly.
If you know me (and many of you do) you know that I’m always looking at the dollars and cents of travel. I want to stay comfortably, but do not want to break the bank. So on this trip, I’m joining Choice Privileges, the Choice Hotel rewards program. Over the years, I’ve stayed at a variety of Choice Hotels such as, Econo Lodge, Comfort Inn, and Quality Inn, and enjoyed my stay. The properties were clean, the staff friendly and most of all the beds were comfortable.
There is nothing like a good night’s sleep to put you in a good mood. I’m so excited to see my blogging friends in Atlanta, and I can barely stand it. Their blogs are amazing and inspiring, and giving them a hug, face-to-face, is so nice once in a while. As I grow older, I find myself traveling to connect with people and much less interested in visiting places. I’d rather sit in a coffee shop and connect and talk.
Stories are what I know and while I’ve traveled the world, spending years abroad, I find myself increasing looking for people and not places. As a blogger I share my story and as I travel, I know I can rely on Choice Hotels to connect me with the people I want to see. Whether it was visiting my mother-in-law and staying on a budget or traveling for work, they’ve got a variety of options to fit any need.
Visit ChoiceHotels.com to book your next hotel stay. They’ve got cool maps (that are actually easy to use) and great rates. They’ll take care of you, just as they take care of my family and me. Don’t forget to join Choice Privileges to earn points toward free nights, gift cards, and others!
I can’t wait to see my friends in Atlanta; I’ve got less than a month to go!
Connect with Choice Hotels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube and stay tuned for my post about my stay coming soon.
