We absolutely love pumpkin pie at our house. This recipe is nothing special EXCEPT that we make the pumpkin pie you love into miniature bites of pure joy. Follow the recipe and watch the video and your mini pies will come out perfectly.
The garnish on top is just a simple pie crust stamp. You can get them on Amazon, eBay and this specific pattern came from William and Sonoma!

- 1 can of pumpkin (15oz)
- 2 eggs
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 2 store bought pie crust
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Combine pumpkin, eggs, milk, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Using a circular mold or jar, cut pie crust. Ideally you need a 3-4 inch mold. A wide mouth jar is 3"
- Using a pie crust mold cutter, cut out cute patterns.
- Add pie crust to cupcake pan
- Add pie filling
- Add cute pie crust garnishes to top
- Bake for 30 minutes at 400F.
So sweet! My kids would adore these!
This looks fantastic!
Thanks Megan!

How many does this make?
I just made these & I had enough for 24.
I’m going to make the small pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. Love your site
Do you spray the pan with Pam cooking spray before putting in the pie crust?
I want emails from you, it says it is invalid, that is a working email, I don’t have another one!
Yum
Do you think these could be made ahead and frozen? This is a great idea and I’d love to make ahead and give away at the holidays. Thank you for the recipe!!!
Is there no sugar in this? Doesn’t seem it would taste too good without he sugar.
I made these tonight.. No sugar. They are sweet enough without it, and i bought a can of whipped cream for the top. Squirt a tiny bit on top before you eat.. Delicious!
How many servings from this recipe?
We usually get 12 – 16 pies
I just put them in the oven I got 18 🙂
Lots of sugar in the milk!
sweetened condensed milk is added you do not need sugar
You are exactly right.
That’s what the sweetened condensed milk is for
No need for sugar…the sweetened condensed milk is loaded with sugar ????
The is plenty of sugar in the sweetened condensed milk
There*
Sweetened condensed milk has sugar in it already.
The sugar is in the sweetened condensed milk
In this recipe they used Sweetened Condensed Milk instead of Evaporated Milk which is traditionally used in pumpkin pie. If you follow the recipe on the can of pumpkin puree and use Evaporated Milk then you would need to use sugar as directed.
The condensed milk has the sugar as a sweetener.
Sweetened condensed milk is the sugar.
Any idea about nutritional content – for Weight Watchers points
Really liked the way this recipe printed off. Looks easy enough for me to make it successfully.
What size condensed milk do you use?
It is the sweetened condensed milk and I”ve only seen it is the small 8 oz. cans. Plus I has to be the small size anything bigger would be too much sweetness for the amount of pumpkin,
Where do I find the cut outs.?
P
I’m also wondering if you spray the muffin pan with Pam before you put the crust in?
Deb
Yes we did, but they popped right out. Just make sure to not overfill them.

What size can of condensed milk did you use for this recipe?
What size condensed milk? Thank you
I am going to tr this one
Made these last night. Used a 3″ round cutter – dough not even halfway up the muffin tin. My pies were half the size of what the picture shows. Will try again, but will use the pre-made tart shells. Recipe does not say how many this will make nor what size can of sweetened milk to use. Also, most major grocery stores in Canada do not carry 15 oz cans of pumpkin puree – they carry the big 747ml cans.
The big cans in Canada are 28 ounces. I used just a bit more than half the large can. Mine are in the oven now. I have only ever seen sweetened condensed milk in one size -300 ml.
Yummy
Did you use regular cupcake pans or the mini pans?
How many does this recipe make
These are so cute and so delicious! My 11 yo and I made them today for a small NYE party we’re having. Small as in Mom, Dad, and two kiddos.
We used a 3.5″ cookie cutter and found that it was slightly too small to fill the muffin tins like we wanted. Easy fix: use a rolling pin to make the circles a little bigger.
I like using the sweetened condensed milk instead of evaporated milk and sugar. It makes the filling a little thicker and easier to ladle into the tins. The only change I’ll make next time — and there will be a next time — will be to cut the salt in half. Just a bit on the salty side for my taste.
@LogicRIP yea they should start with a certain delusional crickter with a tendency to u-turn at every chance possible.
