Every Wednesday in my house is Dad’s Dinner Night. It’s where I either make dinner or bring it home for our family. It gives my wife a break and also allows me to try new recipes and restaurants. This past week I decided to swing by Panda Express. They recently opened up in my area and we really enjoy getting good, reliable and affordable Chinese carryout! I have eaten at Panda for years and remember the very first time I introduced my wife to them in Vegas. We were staying off the strip in the Sam’s Town Casino. Down near the lobby they had a Panda Express and every other night we tried something new.
I called my wife when I left work and told her I wanted Chinese for dinner and was going to swing by Panda Express. When I arrived they had some of our favorites along with a new dish: Chinese Spare Ribs. I went ahead and tried them (who am I to refuse a sample from the nice lady). They were absolutely delicious. Tender, juicy, and with a hint of spice that left your mouth wanting more. I ordered them along with some rice, and wontons.
When I placed my order, the woman behind the counter gladly filled my order with slow roasted ribs and the other sides I chose. I was super impressed at all their fresh cut veggies. It was all done in under 10 minutes, which is my kind of take-out.
I arrived home, took pictures downstairs with my 5 year old’s help and put them on the table. 15 minutes later, we had bones that were licked clean. The ribs are a delicious fusion of east-meets-west. If I had to sum up these ribs in one word I would say “impressed.” Panda has rarely disappointed us, and on this occasion we got fall-of-the-bone ribs, slow roasted, that had such a great flavor that they exceeded all of my expectations.
If you’ve got a Panda Express near you, stop in and check these out or even Order Online. Watch the video of me trying them, I literally can’t stop licking my fingers!! These Panda Express Chinese Spare Ribs are only available for a limited time, so get out and enjoy them while they are still here.
