There’s probably nothing I enjoy more than a good hamburger made of soft kaiser buns and juicy burger patties. There’s just something about summer or the approaching summer that makes me want a juicy burger. It signals that summer is finally upon us, no more school, and its freedom right? LOL. That’s true if your a kid right? Summer does bring a certain amount of freedom as an adult. We get to usually vacation, no early mornings rushing around, and maybe just maybe the kids will sleep in.

Summer is the time of getting together and days getting longer. This leads to more play time outside and getting to see the neighbors after the winter. But there are days that I just don’t want to cook. It’s hard to find a good quality, consistent burger. When I go out to get a burger, I want all the trimmings and it should be as good or better than what I can make at home. Believe it or not this is harder than you think it is. A simple burger is one of the easiest things to cook but also the easiest to get horribly wrong. A great burger will taste like heaven and a bad burger will make you want to run for the hills. A burger has to be well seasoned, tender and above all juicy.

There is nothing worse in this world than a dry hamburger. I hate spending good money on a bad burger. There is however one place that I go that consistently delivers one of the best burgers I have ever had and that is Culver’s. For me there is a magic bun to burger to condiment ratio, and the Butter Burger at Culver’s has it. The burgers begin with fresh, never frozen beef, and are layered with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and real Wisconsin cheese, all topped with Culver’s signature mayo combine to make the perfect burger. They have gotten the gooey necessity for burgers down to a science as it comes out perfect melted on to the burger.

Nothing is worse than getting cold unmelted cheese on a burger. Pair this delicious burger with one of their snack worthy sides like the amazing crinkle cut fries that are fried to crispy perfection and the ridges hold jus the right amount of ketchup. These things together make hamburger heaven!

Head on over to Culver’s and celebrate National Hamburger Day on May 28th. Their fresh, cooked to order 100% midwestern beef will be hit the burger spot! You can customize your burger however you like it and trust you are going to be getting a great meal!
