One thing I love about this time of year is the permission to be indulgent. I don’t think there is really another “season” that being indulgent is really permitted. We often wait all year long to enjoy these delectable treats.
I have to confess that I am a chocoholic. I need rehab. I love dark, chocolate, salted caramel chocolate, milk chocolate, I love it all. So why not have a chocolate on chocolate, pie. What better pairing with that pie than an oreo crust. Yum!
There is no better pie than a good chocolate pie. There is just something about the way the texture melts in you mouth that makes sinfully delicious. I decided to take that indulgence one step further and add in a layer of salted caramel on top of the bottom crust. OH. MY. GOODNESS!
This pie is literally almost too much to handle. Make this and it will be the centerpiece of your dessert table and it will NOT last long at all so claim your piece first and hide it!
